On Saturday, April 5th, 2025, three Kurdish detainees, Shirwan Heydari, Idris Heydari, and Sirwan Hatami, from the village of “Awehang” (avihang) in the Kalatrzan district of Sine (Sanandaj), were temporarily released after posting a bail of 500 million tomans each until the conclusion of the legal proceedings from Sanandaj prison upon posting bail.

On Sunday, March 23, 2025, the three individuals were apprehended by Iranian security forces without a judicial warrant in connection with the celebration of Newroz, and were subsequently transferred to a detention facility in Sine (Sanandaj) for interrogation.

According to a informed source they were denied access to legal representation during their detention.

As of now, the Iranian authorities have not released any explanation regarding the arrest nor specific charges against them.
