Kurdistan: Kurdish Civil Activist Re-Arrested by Regime's Security Forces Shortly After Bail Release in Saqqez

On Wednesday, April 9, 2025, Nariman Randani, a civil activist from Saqez, was once again detained by security forces and transferred to an undisclosed location.


According to the information obtained by the Kurdistan human rights association in Geneva, this civil activist was arrested at his workplace by security personnel without a judicial warrant.


On Tuesday, February 25, 2025, Nariman Randani had been temporarily released from Saqez Prison after posting a bail of 600 million tomans.


This civil activist had previously been transferred to Saqez Prison after the completion of interrogation processes at a security detention center in Sanandaj.


On the evening of Wednesday, January 24, 2025, Nariman Randani, an artist and and musician, was arrested by security forces without warrant in connection with the public strike against the death penalty.
