A young Kurdish Kolbar (border courier) was seriously injured after being shot by Iranian border officials.
On the Evening of Friday, May 04, 2024, Armed forces of Islamic republic of Iran in Sardasht border regions from short distance targeted a young Kolbar with rubber bullets.
According to the informations received by Kurdistan Human Rights Association- Geneva (KMMK-G), this Kolbar is named Aryan Mamandi who is 17 years old seriously injured in both eyes.
The reports published in this regard indicate the severity of the damage to his eyes.
Based on the reports and documents received by Kurdistan Human Rights Association-Geneva (KMMK-G), regarding the situation of the Kurdish Kolbars (border couriers), the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran have targeted Kolbars more intensely this year, and this process has led to an increase in number of kolbars who were killed compared to the previous years.
